Everything you need to know about academic life at Sai Stiti Institute of Medical Science — from curriculum and clinical training to examinations, rules, and admissions.
Structured nursing programmes aligned with national standards and real-world healthcare practice.
Sai Stiti Institute of Medical Science offers career-oriented nursing programmes — ANM, GNM, and B.Sc Nursing — designed to build strong theoretical foundations alongside hands-on clinical competence. Our academic framework follows the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council and state nursing councils.
Students learn through a balanced mix of classroom instruction, laboratory practice, community health postings, and supervised hospital training. Faculty mentors guide each batch with regular assessments, remedial support, and professional development activities.
Updated syllabus covering anatomy, physiology, community health, medical-surgical nursing, and more.
Skill labs for nursing procedures, simulation practice, and pre-clinical training before hospital postings.
Dedicated mentors, doubt-clearing sessions, and academic counselling throughout the programme.
Programmes structured to meet eligibility for council registration and employment in healthcare.
Real hospital exposure that prepares students for patient care from day one of their career.
Clinical training is the backbone of nursing education at our institute. Students are posted to affiliated hospitals and community health centres under the supervision of qualified clinical instructors and ward staff. Training covers observation, assisted practice, and independent patient care as students progress through their programme.
Each posting is planned to match the academic calendar so that classroom learning is reinforced at the bedside. Students maintain logbooks, case studies, and reflective records as part of their clinical assessment.
Fair, transparent evaluation through internal assessments and council examinations.
Regular unit tests, mid-term and pre-final examinations in theory and practical subjects each semester.
OSCE-style skill tests, lab examinations, and viva voce to assess clinical competence and communication.
Final-year students appear for council or university examinations as per programme requirements.
Examination schedules, admit cards, and results are published on the notice board. Students must carry valid ID and follow the dress code and conduct rules during all examinations.
Guidelines that maintain discipline, safety, and a professional learning environment for all students.
